Walk like an Egyptian
When I think of time travelling, the first thing that comes in mind is the future, the wonder of what the world will be like moving forward because that's where the surprise is, the unknown, and not in the past, we've read the books of history, we know what happens. Yet, people remain fascinated with older times, ancient times and they make television shows about it. Then there's the fashion throwback. Relive your childhood in the nineties or venture in the world of mythology from the ancient Greek? Both appealing however I would choose to make a stop in the Ancient Egypt... veiled in mystery, set in times of gods, oracles, immortality and empires, intricate art and golden attire, when queen Cleopatra ruled -- and who hasn't dressed like her at a costume party or read the play by Shakespeare, watched movies about her epic romance with the roman Mark Antony? So, I would explore as much as I can in order to make sense of the culture, beliefs and findings that have been lost since then, make my way into palaces, pyramids and hidden places to unlock the puzzle of that era.
