subject: Houseboat complaint
Hello, Mick. I've recently rented your houseboat for a few months, expecting the quality that you have promoted in your advertisement, however I've had quite a lot of issues that I simply cannot ignore any longer.
First of all, the bedroom is not at all spatious, I could barely fit my bags and I have difficulty simply walking around because of how crowded it is! Not only that, but the bed is not double. It's not much of an inconveniece, as I don't need a double bed, however I think it is important that you are more honest with your advertisements.
Secondly, the broadband needs to be replaced. It hardly even works and it has made it very difficult for me to get access to the internet. I frequently have to fix it. This is very important since I need a proper internet connection to do my work, so please do something about it.
Finally, the houseboat is almost half an hour away from all of the shops and cafes. I am a busy person and I cannot spend 1 hour simply walking to and from a cafe if I want to eat out. It's not like I have a choice, either, the kitchen appliances are old and most of them don't work properly, so I can't even cook for myself!
I expect you to at least do something about the broadband and the kitchen appliances, otherwise I will have to move out and find a better houseboat to rent.
