Dear diary,

Friday was a memorable day. I reconnected with an old friend and we went to a rock concert. I had such a good time singing along and chatting away. On Thursday I had bumped into Alex on my way home from school. He used to be in my classroom. Last time I talked to him he was going to leave the city. I had been taking exams all week and I was feeling discouraged but he cheered me up. We decided to keep in touch.
